Burton and I met Brooks and his mommy, Susan at our local dogpark shortly after we moved here. Brooks came over today for a playdate since it was too cold out. They are good friends!!

Burton is loving the Colorado snow! We get to the dogpark about 2-3 times a week and he has a blast! I recently joined the Denver Great Dane Meetup Club and was asked to be an Assistant Organizer! WOW. It's growing everyday with new members! I'm really excited. I also put my application in for the RMGDRI (Rocky Mtn. Great Dane Rescue, Inc) and found out today that I was accepted. What an honor!! I can't wait to get started.

Burton and the Blizzard of 2006!! We got 33" of fresh snow within 48 hours. WOW!
This is Burton cuddling with his daddy-Mike.
This is the neighbor's doggy--Deuthcoh. (I have no clue how to spell his name.)
In the backyard, we had snowdrifts that were close to 5 ft high!
While everyone shoveled their driveways, all the dogs played in the streets as snowmobiles went around the neighborhood!
Burton ran wild for a few hours! He loved it!
Here he is with his JollyBall! His favorite toy that his dog trainer, Gretchen, gave him for his 1st birthday!!
The entire city shut down--DIA closed, too. It was declared a state of emergency!

Burton's 1st SNOW!! WOW! He loves it. Just a few days after we rolled into town, it snowed about 4-5 inches. Mike took some pics of him playing in the snow!
Mike let's him come inside!
These are his "show" pictures. I'm amazed he stood still for so long!
He loves his jolly ball that Gretchen (his dog trainer) gave him! Thanks Gretchen!
