DANE NIGHT. IT'S GETTING DARKER EARLIER, SO I THINK WE SHOULD START ROUNDIN' EM UP EARLIER DUE TO LOSS OF DAYLIGHT. LET'S TRY 6:30PM AND SEE HOW THAT WORKS FOR THE PARENTS!!! August 27, 2006 Burton the "Great" Dane!! We've hit 9 months and 105 lbs. We've graduated Intermediate Class & start Advanced Class this Week!!! CGC Patch here we come! Watch out Gretchen! (Our Trainer--Petsmart Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd)










Just a reminder to everyone--we are the Lawrenceville Great Dane Club of Georgia! We meet every Tuesday night at 7pm weather permitting at the Ronald Regan Dog Park. Today is July 18th, 2006.
Burton is a little over 8 months old and almost 100 lbs. Is anyone seeing spots? HaHa sorry.


The "new" dane on the block is "Tank' with his mom Shelly. A very nice addition to our group! Welcome.

The Harl is Harley. He is only a 1 1/2 yr old male and is probably the tallest dane I've ever seen!!!


We are still doing "Great Dane Night" at the Ronald Regan/Five Forks DogPark most Tuesday Nights at 7pm unless it rains!!! So, please pass the word around to any great dane lovers or just any dog lovers!! See you there.

The solid blue dane is "Cooper"--he is 14 months old and weighs 120 lbs.


The black male here is "Sarge"--he is 8 months
old and weighs in at 105 lbs.



This is Indiana--a 2 yr old Rotti. That dog followed her around all day.
Indi's mom is Martha and she works at burton's vet.

Burton has socialized very well! He is on his Intermediate class and doing great. He pulls mike around the neighborhood on his skateboardand seems to like it!

Just turned 6 months old on May 11th, 2006!
Weighing in at 78lbs and still growing.





You can tell what my new favorite toy is.
My mom gave it to me when we went to visit grandma on mother's day. It was great. I love my new baby; i prance around the yard with it all day.

We are on house arrest for two weeks. Burton hurt his foot--"too much exercise at fight club says the vet!" So, we've got to be careful and not to play too much on it. So, just walks around the neighborhood and fun in the yard til Sunday. Mom and Dad are having a cookout and some dogs are coming to visit. I can't wait!

Burton the "Great" Dane!

Born on November 11, 2005 into a litter of 9. His mother is a Harl named Wiggles and his Blue Merle father is named Ice. He is close to 6 months old and is awesome! We bought him from a breeder in Southern Georgia. We've tried to stay in contact with her and she will not respond to our emails. We've lucked up with Burton; his temperment is excellent as well as his health. He is our 1st dane.

We live in Lawrenceville, GA and Burton loves to go to the dog park at Ronald Reagan/Five Forks Trikum every day to play! He has a whole posse of dogs that he plays with day; especially danes!!

He enjoys learning new tricks and training. We have hopes of being a therapy dog in a few years so we are going thru every available class offered at Petsmart and we love our trainer Gretchen Penrose.
